Bieber's Grammy-nominated smash "Love Yourself" ascended to 6x platinum (6 million units), while fellow "Purpose" track "No Sense" earned a gold award (500,000).
Major Lazer's "Cold Water," which features Bieber and MO, meanwhile went double platinum (2 million).
Under the terms of the RIAA's digital singles program, each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
