Sheek louch is a third member of the group "the lox", that was signed to puffy daddy's bad boy label in the in the 90's. The group dropped two albums under bad boy before they left the label.
Sheek louch dropped his first album, work with me in 2003, walk with me. The three members of the lox chose a different year each to drop their albums. Jada kiss dropped his first in 2001, styles in 2002, sheek in 2003. Then jada dropped his second album in 2004, sheek dropped his second album in 2005, styles dropped his second album in 2006, then dropped his third in 2007. Sheek dropped his third album in 2008, and jada is going to drop his thrid in 2009.
Sheek louch dropped after taxes in 2005, then his third album in 2008.
He was under unniversal records, before signing a contract with koch records, an independent label, to distribute he jada and styles d-block imprint.
On koch records they get a deal of 8 dollars on a cd, instead of a dollar or 50 cent that artist get on major labels like def jam.
So if sheek sells about 100 thousand copies, he gets $800, 000 in his bank account.
He continues to drop mixtapes on the underground scene.
The group, the lox would be dropping their thrid album as a group in 2009.
